Photo Flashcards

As I upload photos to this site, I tag them with the name of the species for plants and birds (when applicable). That allowed me to set up these flashcards for learning to identify the plants and birds I see in nature preserves near me. All of these species are native to the Midwest. I add in the both the latin and common names, so you can just learn to identify pictures with names, or go a step beyond and try to get the latin names sorted.

Note: most of these photos were taken to both look nice and provide some useful clues for identification. I try to not tag the plants that would be impossible to guess based on their pictures.
