About Me
I'm Mike Considine (pronounced `dine`, not `deen`. Tell your friends.). In my career I'm a software developer, and I always have a side project or two that I'm slowly but surely working on.
Otherwise, I'm very passionate about the environment— specifically the prairies, savannas, and woodlands scattered across the Midwest. I love learning about plants, birds, and other living things, and when I have time I like to volunteer with the local forest preserves to restore natural habitat. I also do a bit of photography for fun; you can find some of that here.
Other random hobbies include gardening, biking, baking, and trying to keep up my mediocre Spanish.
I grew up and have spent most of my life in the Chicago area. Right now, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
